This bag is certified organic and naturally high in plant protein and fibre, making it an easy way to bulk out stews, chillies, soups and rice dishes without meat. Being vegan, gluten-free and free from added sugar, they slot easily into plant-based, dairy-free and wheat-free diets. Dried beans do need a bit of forward planning — soak them in plenty of water for at least eight hours, or overnight, before cooking to shorten the cooking time and improve digestibility. Once soaked, simmer until tender, then use warm in mains or cooled in salads and grain bowls.
