The meeting reflected the core spirit of ECO-GUARDIANS: placing young people at the centre of environmental protection, while connecting them with experts, civil society organisations and local stakeholders. Through this exchange, the EcoGuardians strengthened their role as young leaders capable of listening, learning, proposing solutions and inspiring action in their communities.
A step forward for the ECO-GUARDIANS Network
By combining youth perspectives, expert knowledge and community engagement, the roundtable in Los Alcazares marked another step forward in the development of the ECO-GUARDIANS Network. It reinforced the importance of cooperation between generations, sectors and territories to protect the Mar Menor and other environmentally sensitive areas.
The contributions gathered during the meeting will help strengthen the draft Roadmap before its next stages, ensuring that the final document reflects both the collective work of the consortium and the voices of the local communities involved.
