On June 28th, the first information session of the EcoGuardians project took place together with a group of local young people, motivated to make their contribution to the environment.
This was one of the 4 sessions held across Europe, including Los Alcázares 🇪🇸, Sofia 🇧🇬, Oulu 🇫🇮, and Marseillan 🇫🇷.
In the green landscape of Tramonti, we explored what the Eco-Guardians project is all about through a hands-on experience in nature, walking among chestnut trees and building and installing insect and birdhouses for pollinators and birds, thanks to the collaboration with @thegreeners_amalficoast.
Following this meeting, some of the participants will join the European team of Eco-Guardians, becoming influencers for environmental change in their communities, supported by mentors specialized in environmental issues.
Young voices matter, and the Eco-Guardians will make them heard loud and clear!
