On the 24th and 25th of April, the city of Oulu welcomed all partners to Oulu, Finland:
The initiative is coordinated by the Ayuntamiento de Los AlcĂĄzares, located on the shores of the Mar Menor lagoon in Spain, and brings together partners from across Europe, including the city of Oulu in Finland, the Amalfi Coast Biosphere Reserve Association in Italy, the Bulgarian Biodiversity Foundation working in the wetlands around Sofia, and the Prostir Molodi Youth Space from Ukraineâs Zakarpattia region.
This was an opportunity to meet for the first time in person, share our goals for this Erasmus+ project and define how we can work together. The five work packages that will guide partners all along the project were presented.
- WP 1: PROJECT MANAGEMENT
- WP 2: YOUTH ENGAGEMENT & INCLUSION
- WP 3: ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION AND CAPACITY BUILDING
- WP 4: INTERNATIONAL YOUTH EXCHANGES
- WP 5: COMMUNICATION, DISSEMINATION, AND TRANSFERABILITY
To achieve the actions in the work packages, we will use individual skills and experience of all partners: sensitivities, challenges, tools, and methods. The visit also provided us with the chance to discover the work and dedication of Ouluâs young people with environment and involvement done by NUORTEN OULU. The meeting came to an end in Liminganlahti (lintuvesi wetland), a local nature reserve where young people often come to connect with nature.
